The old world charm of this hotel really stood out. We loved it! The kids room was amazing and the breakfast was exceptional. We had the best time!

Great location but can improve amenities

Liked: Loved the location by the park and near the Municipal Market and next door to the Thermas Antônio Carlos. Breakfast was otherworldly - worth staying just for that. The indoor courtyard is beautiful. The heated indoor pool with thermal waters was very convenient to use but closes from 13 hrs to 15 hrs for cleaning. Disliked: The amenities in the room - only one bath towel per person and one toilet roll. Hotel advises paid parking nearby but there seems to be street parking at the back of the hotel (which used to be the front of the hotel).

Great experience

The hotel is super classic, it's been there for a century. The structure is really big, so the rooms are large and comfortable. Some renovation was made, but you can feel it is somehow old - which is very nice. The thermal water pool, the gardens, the architecture, the restaurant, the service and the location are great advantages. It is very beautiful, I recommend it!

The place is old and classic, so don't expect a modern hotel. It is a perfect place to rest, enjoy and relax, but sometimes it can be noisy because of the location (downtown and the square). Also, the rooms are not so clean, but it is acceptable.

Natural thermal & medicinal pool is the highlight of staying in this hotel

Historic hotel in Central location with natural thermal sulfuric pool fed by the natural thermal springs in the area.

Expected a bit more modern comforts for the price you pay.

Old charming hotel in Poços de Caldas. If you are looking for a quiet weekend, that is your place.

It is centrally located, very close to the main attractions of the city. Has a nice ambiance, of old times hotel, with 1920 furniture, telephone booths, nice old thermal swimming pool facilities, including thermal baths and massages. Around the hotel entrance you will find many local stores, cafes, selling local product like cheese, cachaca, and clothes. The chocolate store is also great!

The parking is very confusing, there is no space to park when doing checking, very narrow street, and it takes along time to the valet to bring your car ( valet paid R$38,00 / per night stay). All the facilities of the hotel including bar area closes at 10PM, the restaurant closes at 9PM. If you want a drink with friends, like we intended to do, you will need to find another place.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel facilities were lovely. The pool is relaxing

Paying extra for the garden view probably wasn't worth it, we were put to the side.

Traditional Place

All the meals at the hotel are great The room is huge and comfortable Staff is great Location is perfect, easy to walk to the city. Many restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

Valet parking is inefficient; it took me a lot of time to retrieve the car; parking alone in the street is very limited.
